Je m'appelle Mme Brimbecom.

Études sociales

En hiver

Studies have resumed on the subject of Urban and Rural communities.  We are talking about our basic needs, characteristics of communities and geographical characteristics and how all of these things influence and are influenced by communities.

En automne

In the Grade Three Social Studies classes we have had some small quizzes and will be doing the end of unit test next Friday.  Duotangs will be sent home for review on Tuesday. Students will be asked to demonstrate that they can find things on a map, match symbols to words, describe what is on a map, and make a map, create symbols for objects, and name things you would find on a map. (titre, rose des vents, legende, symboles cartographiques).

Musique avec Madame Brimbecom.

In the Primary music classes we are continuing to learn new French songs, enjoying some old favourites,reviewing the names of muscial notes and symbols and starting to use symbols to create musical patterns.  In addition, we have started talking about the families of musical instruments.
