Welcome

There are two Intermediate bands for students to join, the Concert Band and the Jazz Band. 

The Concert Band rehearses on Mondays at 12:05 in the music room.  It is open to all students who have played their instrument for a full year.  Current members of the Concert Band are listed on the music page.  As the year progresses invitations will go out to other students as places open up in the band.  Students are asked to prepare their music before rehearsal and attend all rehearsals.  The Concert Band is currently working on "Dance Celebration" by Robert W. Smith.  The rehearsal schedule is as follows:

Oct 17, Oct 24, Oct 31, Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 21, Nov. 28, Dec. 5, Dec. 12 and Dec 19.

Concerts on Thursday Dec. 22 2011 in the morning and 7pm in the evening.  There will also be a performance for the school on the morning of Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.

The Jazz Band rehearses on Fridays at 12:05 in the music room.  The members of the Jazz Band attended an audition to be selected for the band.  Members are listed on Mrs. Lee's music page. As the year progresses invitations will go out to other students as places open up in the band.  Students are asked to prepare their music before rehearsal and attend all rehearsals.  The Jazz Band is currently working on "Loosen Up".  The rehearsal schedule is as follows:

Oct 14, Oct 21 (with guest high school students), Oct 28, Nov. 4, Nov 11, Nov. 25, Dec. 2, Dec. 9, Dec. 16.

Concerts on Thursday Dec. 22 2011 in the morning and 7pm in the evening.  There will also be a performance for the school on the morning of Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
